State Youth League 

                            

Players in these competitions from all associations are training and playing at a high standard. 

Playing at this elite level opens up the possibilities to trial for State and national teams along with the oppertunity  to  be selected into programs such as NSW  Institute of sport, center of excellance programs and emerging athlete programs.

 Players not advancing into the above programs or
 squads develop the skills and ability to raise the standard of all  other football competitons in the local area such as NBN League, Womens Premier League and NEWFM Competitions.

In 2013 the following  age groups are competing in the metropolitan state youth league;-

Under 11 year syl old boys have Two teams playing for Macquarie Football against the following teams ;-

Hunter valley   2 teams

Newcastle Football  2 teams

Under 10 Emerging Jets 2 teams.
