U12’s Blue V White

A good contest played in great spirit. It was very pleasing to see both teams go over to their parents as a group and clap them after the game. The blue team showed character and gave their all.

It is always going to be difficult for teams to play against their own. Our White played our Blue team. This turned out to a very competitive game. Some very good passing from the White team proved a handful for the Blues. However the Blues stuck to their dogged defensive game plan. Some very good tight marking together with some outstanding reflex saves from the goalkeeper kept the blue team in the game. All at Macquarie should be pleased with the effort displayed. Congratulations to all.
