Our Macquarie Academy team was unable to progress to finals, with Charlestown City Blues FC and Hamilton Olympic comming together in the final, Charlestown CIty Blues FC defeated Hamilton Olympic 5 Goals to Nil.  Well done to  Charlestown City Blues FC who are one of the Macquarie Football zone clubs. The victory sees Charlestown CIty Blues FC team travel to Melbourne for the Next Stage.   Well Done.

The Manchester United Nike Cup is once again on,  day one is the 18th February with teams that are competing in the 15's Competion for 2012 playing for the chance to represent NNSW in Melbourne against the best of the best from around Australia.  The winner from Melbourne will compete  on an international level to try and win the Manchester United Premier Cup against teams from around the world.  has registered in the under 9’s 91 players and in the under 10’s 75. This is an outstanding result for the Academy and association. Congratulations must go to all the clubs for placing these young footballers towards higher selection honors.
