Macquarie 15 Years boys  travelled to Woolgoolga not only for their State Youth League game but also for the chance to Take the representative spot  for NNSWF in the Nike Manchester United Cup, to be held in Melbourne.

both teams went in to the match knowing what was at stake, with both teams trying to get the upper hand early. With a long ball placed to our striker North coast  unfortunatly for them gave away a penalty which Macquarie had no trouble placing in the back of the net.  North Coast had their chances but were unable to convert them into goals.

In the last ten minutes North coast almost placed a header into our goal but macquarie were on their toes and made the clearance dening them a goal to level the score. Our boys were able to  score another goal of a corner  to seal NCF Fate.

Our boys will now fly to Melbourne to compete against teams from around Australia, to try and secure a position to travel to Manchester United to compete in the Manchester United Cup for 2011, Well done guys, we will see them working hard at training. Final Score 2 - 0 to Macquarie
